Rove is going to get away with the Plame Leak
CIA leak probe may be nearing end game-lawyers
By Adam Entous
56 minutes ago

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - New York Times reporter Judith Miller, locked up for refusing to reveal who told her a covert CIA operative's name in a probe that may be nearing a conclusion, works part time at the jail laundry helping clean fellow inmates' green jumpsuits and dirty linens.
<snip>
But lawyers close to the investigation say there are signs that the 20-month-long inquiry could be wrapped up within weeks in a final flurry of negotiations and legal maneuvering.

Asked if talks were under way with special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald, a Justice Department prosecutor, to secure Miller's testimony and release, Abrams said: "If there are any discussions, they would be private."

6. "within weeks in a final flurry of negotiations and legal maneuvering"
this tells you he will get away with it? How do you read it then?

12. Then stop
with the inflamatory subject lines. You do no good at all and for sure, all the Freeptards will pick up on the hystrionics.

Just chill and let the investigation take it's course.

13. Do Some Research On Fitzgerald
Look at what he did to the powers that be in Illinois. He's not bought and paid for, and he's extraordinarily effective. Geez, the former governor is going on trial this week, it's believed the former prez of the Illinois Senate ia about to be indicted, the gov's chief of staff is already in jail, the Senate prez's chief of staff is already indicted, and the investigation is still moving on the former speaker of the house. This guy takes no prisoners and doesn't do political favors.

Look into the archives of the Chicago Tribune before you jump to conclusions.

9. Heh? Where Do You Get That From???? The Article Says Nothing Of The Sort
It's only about the investigation wrapping up. I'm excited about that, it means the indictments will be coming down soon and I still fully believe there will be indictments.

11. There is absolutely nothing in that article that suggests your assertion.

If anything, it appears the case is about ready to pop into the spotlight right on the heels of the Katrina tragedy.
