I found this on the ESPN message board for the Cleveland Browns;
Kayne West Typical dumb black
He say's that "When white people steal, it's called providing for their families, but when black people steal it's called looting"
It's simple: White people are stealing bottled water, canned food for their families, while black people are stealing Stereo's, TV's, CD players....now you know Kayne West why you're considered a looter! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's where I need help. I'm looking for the AP photos and captions that clearly demonstrate the double standard. I saw them on Bill Maher's Real Time last Friday but cannot find them. I just want to post a link to the photo's to back up my response to this ignoramous.
Here was my response:
Obviously, Solomon hasnt seen the two photo's from New Orleans that back up the claims of a double standard.
The first photo from the AP shows a young african american with a 12 pack of Pepsi and a loaf of bread wading through the waters from the flood. The caption read, "A young african american returns home after looting a grocery store."
The second photo shows a young white man and his wife wading through the water with a loaf of bread and other food items. The caption read, "A young couple return to their home after finding needed food at a nearby grocery store."
The President REMAINED on vacation for three damn days rather than get his *** back to Washington to respond to the tragedy in LA, MS and AL. And even then, no help came for another two days. While he ate cake with John McCain and got a guitar from a country singer, people in New Orleans were dying by the boatload.
Let's face reality; This administration does not like people of color. You cannot tell me if this devastation had happened in Florida or Beverly Hills the response wouldnt come for five damn days.
But of course there is a historical perspective on slow responses by this President; He sat for seven minutes after being told our nation was under attack rather than getting to the task of protecting this nation.
And if what Kayne said touches a nerve, well these old sayings are quite appropriate, "truth hurts" and "if the shoe fits".
