Jon Stewart has the keenest, most honest insight into this mess.
He, and his writers, cut right to the heart of the matters, cut out all of the bullshit - he does it with a big heart, a sharp tongue, and amazingly, can bring a laugh to it all to break the stress and pressure. Watching the show tonight, and last night, is more valuable therapy than any psychiatric or psychological professional could offer. This man is a true treasure, and lifeline.

2. VERY TRUE and boy does it feel good to laugh after this horrible week
I LOVE HIM. He really is a genius and I totally agree with your analysis about the therapy. It felt like the last time I actually laughed out loud was months ago.

3. His guest last night was good
Michael Moore often talked about how we're being manipulated with fear tactics. And that guest hit that nail on the head.

5. Is there anywhere online to get full length episodes?
And not just clips? I never watch tv, so I don't get cable. The Daily Show is probably the only program I would ever bother with besides Frontline and Nova which are both online.

7. It's on many more times in the next few days.
Check the website - they list all the times it airs and you can tape it then. I think it's at 10am tomrrow morning EST and also tomorrow at 8pm EST and there might be a few others.
