OK... let me adjust my tinfoil hat here...

Add these up:

No reporters allowed in New Orleans.
No photos of the dead.
No autopsies (i.e. no accounting of the dead)
People being locked down in their "shelters"
People not being told where they are being relocated
Families being separated
Recruiters showing up at shelters.

Add to that a dead-end war and a military at the breaking point, desperately needing more "volunteers" to fight an unwinnable war and an administration unwilling to accept defeat.

So... my tinfoil hat tells me a scenario like this is possible: a guy goes missing in new Orleans. People who know him assume he's dead. Years later, we find he was shanghaied and sent to Iraq.

Or... more realistically, someone in a shelter with nothing left in their life is given a choice - join the military or be tossed on the street.

Regardless of the methods, you know these neocon assholes are going to prey on the poor one way or another to beef up their war machine.
