Poll question: PROVE MY THEORY RIGHT RE Dean vs. Clark
My theory is that, although the most vocal Clarkies and Deanies say no way would they vote for the other, I think most would. Let's see.

I'm a deanie...
and I would consider (not definate) voting for clark. Nothing really wrong with clark, but I've been in the military and I know what it takes to become a general.

2. And Gringo is Right Again!
Let us all join hands and sing kumbayah. No more bitching and carping, we'll just let the cards fall where they may in the primaries, and reunite into one happy ass-kicking democrat family at the convention. I says it, and thus it shall be so.

I can always hope...

3. I'm a convinced Clarkie
Who thinks Dean has been not straight about the other Dems. But anyone who thinks Dean--or ANY other Dem candidate, including Lieberman--isn't 100x better than Bush lives in a self-indulgent fantasy world.

If Dean wins the nomination, I will donate to, volunteer for, and vote for Howard Dean.

Like Big Dog said: Fall in love, but then fall in line. We must win.

5. That's the spirit!
We're all democrats here, and after all the bickering is done, I'll be ready for the love-fest with all the folks I was bickering at before. One way or the other, we are going to clean the repukes' clocks!

6. Absolutely - nothing higher than victory
"I'll be ready for the love-fest with all the folks I was bickering at before"

Just right. All this crap we all talk is just crap: all of our candidates would make fine leaders. And--this is even more important--none of them are incompetent right wing crazies.

The most important thing is winning. None of this save your conscience stuff for me, though I am lucky enough to vote my conscience with Clark.

I can save my soul later. Today I must save my country.

7. Clark is my first choice...Dean is
my second. Kerry/Gephart/Edwards come in third. If my guy doesn't make it, I hope yours does.

8. Clark
After that I think the only ones with a shot at the nom are Dean and Kerry. I would prefer Kerry but will vote for either of them.

9. Kicking this because this poll has a positive vibe.
This is the first thing I've posted that seems to have Deaniacs and Clarkie-boppers on the same page. Any more positive, unifying pro-democrat comments would be welcome. These responses make me glad to be a democrat.

12. One thing
What about those supporters of other candidates that would support Clark or Dean if either gets the nomination.

14. Absolutely!
I'm not sure that Dean would be my second choice at this point, but if he gets the nomination then his winning the election will be the holy grail for me for the duration.

16. No place to vote
Because there is not enough information for me to say I would vote for Clark.
If he gets the nomination then it is a new ball game for me. Clark Bush (which I already know a lot about and can say no to) and Green if they run a candidate. I will hear what they all have to say and make my choice then.
