Bush won't even acknowledge the American workers on the one day
Edited on Mon Sep-05-05 04:53 PM by LaPera
of the year that's dedicated to them? Has he? I would doubt it!

This would a great day to rent the DVD "Roger and Me" -- written & directed by Michael Moore.

BUY BLUE! http://www.buyblue.org/alphalist.php :toast:

To Bush and the republicans we really & truly are nothing more than peasants, to be exploited, used and abused. We don't deserve rights and we should be happy with what ever they decide to toss us.

We are annoying to these corporate republicans, they want us to just keep our mouth's shut...produce and consume!

I grew up with a strong union backround and family in then, union strong San Francisco.

And this is our day. The workers day, workers fought and died for the 40 hour work week, overtime pay, unemployment insurance, safety in the work place, child labor laws, sick pay, vacation pay, etc... This is no joke, people were killed fighting for these rights...

SUPPORT UNIONS!!

Corporations, management and the owners have never wanted fairness, that's out of the question, they didn't have and didn't want to, give workers shit!

Workers were, (and are fast again becoming) less than shit to these people. Bush and the republicans are moving very quickly to take us back to those union-less times of no workers rights...

One of the biggest and most blatant piss in the workers faces, was just today!!!! Bush announced, anti worker rights --pro corporations rights, John Roberts, as his choice for Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court.

Even some fellow workers today, will agree with the ruling class against unions, unions that are fighting for their working members rights each and everyday... For one to take the owners position against the workers always blows me away. Corporate management doesn't care one bit about you or me, only the bottom line, profits.

You will be fired in most work places in this country if you try to form a union? Though it is your right to do so, the owners have made virtually impossible for you do anything about it.

But this is our day TODAY and as I saw on another thread, I too want to sincerely wish the same...

HAPPY LABOR DAY!!!!
