AWOL Bush either got really fat or he was wearing a bullet-proof vest
Edited on Mon Sep-05-05 11:41 AM by bushisanidiot
under his shirt..

isn't that something.. he has to have such security in his own country..

If AWOL doesn't trust the american people, how does he expect the american people to trust him?

In contrast, President Clinton didn't look like he was wearing any such vest earlier today.

Quite telling..

1. they don't dare let GWB* out in public without one...
I certainly hope no one gets so desperate as to try something, but there certainly are a lot of (justifiably) angy people..

2. He's definitely sporting kevlar (spelling?) today....
I had that same thought when I saw the picture of him and Laura today.
Bush is looking pretty thick through the middle--must be the vest. Laura
clearly is not wearing one.

Yes, is is quite telling that we have a President who fears for his life
among his own people.

3. Maybe that Thing that was on his back is GROWING
And it's trying to enter his nervous system trying to find his brain.

Alas... it can't find it.

4. He likes to wear it because it makes him feel important,
and it feeds his insatiable ego, as well as his insatiable paranoia.

8. Oh no! Who would protect us?
Do they make Kevlar helmets? And if so, is there a size available for Shrub's big head?
Some of the other publicity hounds in this administration better be wearing one too.

12. Do 'they' make Kevlar Helmets?!

What do you think our troops are wearing? Steel Pots?

Kevlar, for the strength, is much lighter than steel - and is actually stronger. Thus Kevlar helmets have a lower moment of inertia and so have very little lag in following head movements compared with steel.

They weigh just under 5 pounds (which seems like a lot in 125 degree weather) and most can stop small frags moving at just over 2000 fps.

More impressively, they are just about the only personal defense equipment which is not in short supply.

It is touching that you seem believe that anyone in this administration is going to be held accountable for this, latest, disaster.

With the money they will make off the reconstruction of NOLA, they simply will have to find new ways to avoid taxation - no worries about their bodily safety: nor about ours either.

13. Ummm: Bush HAS a Private Army

And has had for a Long Time.

At least since 2001:

It is part of a family tradition. As Bush’s grandfather helped fund Adolf Hitler’s first army:
