If you don't understand what Arnold's gropings mean, consider this:
"What Schwarzenegger's boosters in the GOP establishment
fail to understand is that this is not about an old
extramarital affair or someone's sex life from years past.
This is worse. This is the story of a guy who rode the
elevator, groping a woman on the way up, and who is now
about to get off on the top floor: the governor's office.

Simply put, Schwarzenegger is unfit to be governor."

3. No, we don't
What is so hard to understand here? We voted for
Gray Davis to return to office one more term last
November. We didn't want this recall...a few
disgruntled Republicans started the petitions going
by paid operatives (making up to a $1 apiece for
each signature) funded by Darryl (I got beat by
Matt Fong) Issa.

No one deserves someone like Arnold as governor.

No one in this country deserves Bush as president
either but most of us voted for Gore.

4. No they don't. What should happen is that people should boycott
the media if he gets elected. They'd deserve to have their profits reduced. The average Californian does not deserve misery because the media lied to them about Arnold.

10. I was thinking we need a mass statewide protest with a bulldozer
running over televisions and an estimate of the dollar value of the free media that Arnold got.

7. Therefore, you believe that if the US votes Bush in, Americans deserve
what happens to them?

You bet.

That's why I'm working very hard to ensure he doesn't win. We all should be. Otherwise, we deserve what we get.

24. Glad to hear it, Gin.
For Arnold to make into office would be deplorable. Just ask Minnesota how well that Gov. Jesse Ventura thing went. The enchantment of having a celebrity in office wears off real fast.

9. I Agree
The problem with those that are going to vote for him, is that they are not thinking about the long term. They are only looking at what
results might happen in the short term.

Maybe when they see more homeless families, or the elderly of California suffering, they might get a clue. But by then it will be too late and the damage will be done.

Will CA deserve what they get, if they elect this puppet, yes they will. Part of the problem was your state supreme court, which consist
of a majority of Republicans. It was the state supreme court that would not stop this recall based on the fact that your own state laws were broken by those gathering the signatures.

So I have to agree, if this groper gets elected, you'll deserve everything that happens. The up side is that a lot of people from CA are moving to AZ. Maybe if enough Democrats move here we can remove
the current Rethug majority congressional delegation from office.

Which if he prevailed would be better since his own party won't back a lot of his policies.

5. GOP in CA had signs today - Davis 'grop'ed me and took my wallet
and is saying CA Men will vote more for Arnold because of his bad behavior.

It is interesting how the sins of Clinton - the ones that proved to false about forcing himself on women - are now in Tonight's Leno monologe ( "so Arnold grop'ed a dozen women over 30 years - heck - that is how many Clinton does in one day") - NBC/GE has the whore Leno covering for Arnold - and I expect Tim Russert to minimixe the revelations also - and of course Tweety and Scarburough will no doubt praise the guts it took to confess - as if killers do not almost always confess after being found quilty in Court.

11. It's a crime, isn't it????
I tried hunting around for California statute, but it seems to me that grabbing a woman in a sexual manner without her consent is a crime. Sexual battery? Sexual assault? One or the other.

A crime is still a crime whether it's reported to the police or not. If my son steals the old man's car across the street and takes it for a joy ride, and the old man decideds not to report it, my son still committed a crime. Right?

I don't understand why the media, and too many others, are treating this like youthful indiscretions. A couple of these just happened within the last few years. He's a grown man, old enough to know what he's doing!!!

It's not only disgusting that he did it, the way it's being covered is disgusting as well. It's as if the entire country still doesn't get sexual harrassment and sexual assault.

14. Forbes mentioned "sexual harassment" in his piece
The minute Arnie laid a hand on any of his many victims, it became sexual assault, which is legally a much more serious crime.

22. It's STILL a crime
If you don't get caught, a crime didn't happen? If somebody doesn't report something, for fear of reprisal which is what some of these women have said, a crime didn't happen? In fact, fear and intimidation in connection to a sexual incident is exactly what makes the incident sexual harrassment in the first place. I am saddened that so many fail to see the significance of Arnold's behavior. It's as if 50 years of women fighting to bring awareness of inappropriate sexual behavior never even happened.

19. More importantly..consider THIS - Paula Jones
After 11 years of putting this country through 70 million dollars worth of hell, inspired by allegations of groping, the right wing has the audacity to say "oh, it's nothing. Boys will be boys."

Consider THAT outrage.

They should replace the dictionary definition of hypocrisy with a single word - "republicans."

20. I feel bad
for Californians who are horrified by the prospect of the Gropinator representing them. We all know what it feels like to have those around us vote into national and local office people we think are awful. What can they do except start another recall, which would make their state look even more unhinged. It's lose-lose.

:(
