Guess who she is.
Anyone heard of her? Has she been interviewed or seen by anyone, anywhere? Any one? Give up?
Surprise. She is (the republican) Director of the American Red Cross. Her political donations here:
http://www.newsmeat.com/washington_political_donations/Bonnie_McElveen-Hunter.phpThe thing is, as the Red Cross was denied entry into New Orleans to provide food and water by Homeland Security head Vlad Jerkoff, did anyone see or hear any complaints, protests or objections about this from the Red Cross Director, herself? I've compared this response to Katrina to other hurricanes, and it boggles my mind that the Red Cross was not allowed to bring food and water into Superdome and Convention Center and the airport.
Would babies have died of dehydration waiting for assistance like they did at the convention center, in a shelter full of white folks, say in Florida? If Geraldo and Shep got in there, if NG got trucks in there, I don't understand why help could not. I am not black, but I have to ask, does the red cross have a white bias?
