I think I know what's missing in the Democratic Party

What we need in the party are good speakers. Pelosi keeps on spewing out numbers and jargon and I'm just like ...yeah..yeah..i've heard it all before. Although she is controversial, when Braun speaks, she speaks in a way I can personally relate to. We need a poet or a writer because the only way you kind fight and nullify hate from the right is spirit and love on the left.

Sinceramente,

1. I think we've got them....
Braun is wonderful, Kerry is an awesome speaker, Byrd really speaks to the emotions.

We could use more, though...

4. Good speakers are "erased".
Did you ever notice when the dems have a great orator, they are either quickly demonized or killed in airplanes. Allowing only the less than effective dems left to talk.

Pelosi must be the republicans choice for the dem leader. She might be a good choice in different times, but not during terror wars.

Dashle has "Wally Cox" syndrome. Nice guy but not a leading man.

Kennedy can speak, but they made sure no one listens.

Byrd says the right things but no one has that kind of time.

Clinton gets complete RW attention immediately after anything he says, and that RW spin usually diminishes his comments.

Gore was great on SNL but that is like being great in practice but not the game.

Kerry can talk extremely well but has no hope of connecting with Bubba.

Dean can think on his feet, say what needs to be said but has a less than photogenic appearance. You can bet RW media will claim he is the NIXON vs. GW as Kennedy when and if he debates GW.

That is why Clark is a spoiler, he can be charismatic on TV and has performed as a speaker for many years. He can connect with Bubba and urban voters if Bill Clinton is on his side.
