"I'm here for all the women of California. We don't want a governor who treats women like that," said Gail Escobar, who claims that then bodybuilder Schwarzenegger threatened to "rape" her and a friend 25 years ago.

Escobar, who is in her early forties, was a 16-year-old schoolgirl when she and a friend met Schwarzenegger and a pal as they left a Los Angeles restaurant in 1978.

1. Gee, groper
Do you really think saying your sorry now is going to matter one hill of beans? What a piece of shit. This apology is years too late, completely transparent and not one bit sincere. What a complete pig. No decent woman will accept this "apology" because it's only to save his sorry ass for the repuke takeover of CA. Geez, can we even imagine what would be going on if this candidate were a Dem?

I just hope that all these revelations have not come too little to late to stop this moron from becoming the governor. People with any sense at all will need to realize what is happening, that the wool has been pulled over their eyes, and vote no to the unjust recall.

BTW...USA Today claims that Arnie is "riding out the controversy".

2. Do you really think....
That people think? That's the problem with this country. The more 'educated' people are the less they know. IT'S COOL TO HAVE A MOVIE STAR AS GOV. HE CAN'T DO ANY WORSE THAN THE ONES THERE NOW. I'VE HEARD THAT SO MANY TIMES THAT I FEEL LIKE PUKING. Arnie is an absolute crud. Calif will be even worse off than before. But, hey, he's in the MOVIES. God help us, because the majority certainly won't do anything to help themselves.

3. Let's not forget the Nazi connection
I've heard it said on CNN that the people of CA "understand" that actors live to a looser standard of morality than ordinary folks and that Arnold's escapades don't bother them. Well, it has now come out that he also admires Hitler, though he denies ever saying it. I hope that the Hitler comment and Arnold's "denial" wakes some more people up. The man makes me sick.

4. Thanks a lot Oprah....
(hard to believe some women's thinking on this....)

Many supporters refused to believe the charges, even after their man admitted to boorish behavior.

"I don't think Maria would have let him get away with anything. The Kennedy clan would have rubbed him out if he treated her that way," said Theresa Moore, 49, a teacher from Spring Valley who brought a sign saying "smart chicks vote for Arnold."

"And anyway," she added, "I saw on 'Oprah' how he brings her coffee every morning!"
