Did Trent Lott vote for or against the cuts in hurricane spending?
I was listening to him talk to Cooper about the ordeal and when Cooper asked him if he thought it was right to cut so much money out of hurricane preparedness, Lott responded that it was a bad idea and voted against it.

Anywhere I can find out how voting went for this and if he truly did vote against it?

1. i heard him tell anderson (i think) yesterday that he has voted
for the flood money everytime and that more money should be appropriated.

Too bad he was Majority Leader and did nothing about the cuts!

3. Yeah he said he voted every year to put more money into hurricane relief.
So where do I go to see the votes on this? And if it's so important, why did he not fight Bush on the cuts? That's the question Cooper should've asked (NO offense to Cooper who is doing a bang up job).

2. Maybe this site will help...
http://www.firstgov.gov/index.shtml

I don't have time to check right now, but I'm pretty sure that's the site I used to find out how specific congress people voted. Try the Reference Center section (on the left side bar), specifically Laws & Regulations and see if you can search by FEMA.

Hope that helps.
