Steve Harvey finally says what I am thinking!
Steve Harvey is on Faux right now, and he said, 'There are women here, these women need feminine products. You can't go this long with no fresh clothes.' Etc.

I am so glad someone mentioned this! Why is it that we act as if menstruation doesn't happen? I have always wondered this. And I have been thinking all along, that if there are tens of thousands of people stuck there, a large percentage of them will be women who are having their periods. Not that you can compare that to shootings, rapes, dying babies, etc., but these poor women are just sitting there, bleeding, with no tampons or anything! And no showers! That would be hellish! I am glad someone mentioned this.

Please add some 'feminine products' to your donation of diapers! I know if I was stuck there I would sure as hell want some!

6. I thought of that right away (especially when I heard that one of the
items being taken from stores in NOLA were feminine hygiene products). Gotta have them.

I just can't imagine having to deal with a period under those conditions.
