Timeline Question: NOLA/Schivo

I just heard a caller on C-Span compare Bush's "emergency" return to DC to sign legislation to keep Schivo hooked up, as opposed to his reaction to NOLA.

Off-hand, does anyone have the background, for a timeline comparison?

The pukes were pretty successful in turning the husk that was Mrs. Schiavo into a wedge issue. She was white, at least the suffering shell of flesh that was left of the dear woman was white. What a great opportunity to rall the base.

This, not so much. Its just dark skinned poor people who failed to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. Oh, and some sick and elderly people who forgot to pick themselves up by the bootstraps.
