Help finding a picture from earlier.........
I saw it in a thread somewhere on DU on Friday. It was of * in his plane looking down on the Gulf destruction, either Friday or on the way home from Texas on Wednesday (I don't know which). Most pictures show Bush's back, but I want the picture that showed Bush turning around toward the camera. He's sort of shrugging his shoulders and has a bizarre, sad, overwhelmed look on his face.

Anyone know the picture I'm thinking of?

Thanks,
Nancy

7. He is realizing he can't cover it up.
This, as much as anything else, and perhaps more, will define Bush's presidency.

8. Ooooooh, good point
I think * and Rove thought nothing could top 9-11 as the defining moment of his administration. 9-11 was horrific, but is remembered more as both an example of horrible cruelty and an example of true unity of all Americans and people across the world in the face of this unspeakable act against humanity.

This hurricane, however, has turned much more into an example of the incompetence, heartlessness, and evil of George Bush himself, as a person.
