8. For commuting get a road bike
of the low end $500-600 model. They are better than mountain bikes.

Try either a Giant OCR3

9. Michigan Govenor Granholm takes charge....!!
Our Governor is earning respect from all quarters today... with gas prices soaring over $3.50 a gallon in some places, she calls a Marathon official and asks that wholesale prices be lowered and wha la...300 Marathon stations across the state dropped their prices to $2.99.

Still high..but hey..any relief is a blessing.

She is also calling for the Federal Government put a cap on profits that energy companies can make during times of emergency.

11. it's getting very very close in my rural village
1 hour north of albany, ny. 3.79 for regular at one station, but i didnt get a close look at the others

plenty of farms and wilderness. hopefully people wont have to walk to the farms in order to get food!
