It's pretty obvious that Bush doesn't care about black people, or poor people. Watch what is happening for any length of time, & you can see it. Take the blinders off, right-wingers!

No one would be calling to complain and tie up the lines if West hadn't shot his mouth off in the first place. There's a time for unvarnished truth and time for nuance.

Was there greater good in taking a fruitless shot at Bush, or making sure those much needed donations rolled in for the African Americans he obviously cares a great deal for? Sure, we agree with him, but was that vicarious five seconds worth the potential loss in aid?

This is a no-brainer!

I'll probably be alone in this, but I think West's behavior was inappropriate. Any of those stars can take to the airwaves afterwards and fling rocks at Bush if they want, and more power to em.

A telethon should keep the focus on charity and relief. It isn't the time to use the bully pulpit.
