the legacy of Clinton was the swift response to 911.

now we see what has happened since Bush has taken over and how prepared we are for disaster.

-Our national guard and troops are scattered across the globe
-their equipment (helicopters, boats, vehicles) are in iraq as well
-we are broke due to the 5 billion a month we spend in iraq
-and tax cuts for the rich
-we divert money for americans here at home to homeland security in iraq
-and our 'men in charge' are unskilled unqualified lobbyists like this moore guy in charge of FEMA who is in WAY OVER HIS HEAD!!!

we had days to get ready for this and they did nothing. We have had days since this has happened and officials rush to do more press conferences to pat each other on the back but drag their feet when its time to act.

I am so ashamed to call myself an american ...where is the humanity for chrisakes?
