5:11 P.M. - WWL-TV: Robert M. Gates , President of Texas A&M University, said the Galveston campus will welcome 1,000 displaced students for up to one year. They will be charged the state minimum for tuition.
A&M is not cheap...I went there for a year, I know.
My brother said he heard on NPR that the gov. of TN said that any college student who had paid to go to school in LA could attend classes in TN for free.
But chances are if they were already enrolled in school they already had their funding set up. However...getting state minimum is ideal. I have two kids that I pay out-of-district tuition for and it's a killer.
