They seem more obssessed with the delusion that the faulty relief efforts fall squarely on the shoulders of incompetent LA democrats versus the President who has at his disposal the might of FEMA, US military, National Guard of all 50 states at the drop of of a dime, and offers of help and resources from over a dozen nations with helicopters, rescue workers, mobile shelters, and fuel (including the country who's president is in fear of being assassinated by Bush).
