I seem to remember a "windfall profit tax" was imposed on large oil companies that were gouging Americans in the 1970's.

Of course, that was when Democrats controlled Congress.

we should do it again.

when I got home last night on the very subject.........then I remembered after sending it that.........Oh shit, I forgot about the "Energy Bill". Oh ya, lets give them tax cuts!! How fucked up is that? They can't even spend the dough they have now. We need to demand of our (Asshole Republican) House Reps they pass this legislation NOW!

Remind them the end is near, and then get out and make it happen.
