**** Official Scanner Thread part 2 ****

This was a hot thread a earlier today but I think it was disrupted and people tuned out. Because the thread has gotten up to about 100 replies, I'm making this replacement. There is now quite a bit of chatter going on over the scanner.

I'm recording as much of it as I can but I implore any of you who can to record it. These recordings could turn out to be more important than we think, someday, and we need all the copies we can.

If you can't get in (the above stream is particularly swamped), try here and here. If you wind up posting about something you hear on a scanner stream (or whatever) other than the one listed at the top of this message, please indicate what stream you heard this from!

Here are some codes:
CODE 1 - Washdown
CODE 2 - Accident - no injuries or washdown
CODE 3 - Accident with injuries
CODE 4 - Accident requiring extrication

Some of the stuff you hear over the radio is incredible right now. If you check out previous threads, here and here, you'll see what I mean plus you can get some descriptions on those speaking.

...directory right now. I've listened to ham radio and they don't sound like normal morse key tones. Don't know how to explain it otherwise...
