How much more can this deteriorate ?
I have seen some film of military vehicles and some signs that help is starting to arrive. Better late than never. The LA Governor says she has been told she will get up to 40,000 NG and more if needed. They are starting to get some things organized it appears. Hopefully, they will bring some food and water and some semblance of order and will be able to save many lives... Let's hope that matters will start to improve.

1. The people at the Convention Center have been waiting since Monday ....
for just the basics, food .. water. It is INCOMPREHENSIBLE why they haven't got it. Prayers and Peace.

2. The actual quote
was something along the lines of "the president has assured me that we will get as many troops as we need as soon as possible. . . "

The key words? As soon as possible.

As for the numbers, I heard on the radio that there are "hundreds of thousands" of national guard troops available throughout the country who could be called on for service in the south. Does this sound right to anybody here?

3. Lots, babe and then some.
We've seen nothing yet. Sorry to be the one to say it.

4. They haven't even started retrieving the dead bodies
in New Orleans yet. And people are still dying everyday. We have not seen the worst.
