11. Yep, we are returning to the days of the robber barons (if we're not
there already - income distribution is becoming more and more skewed. The rich are getting richer and richer and...)

3. It's more important that he know how this will affect his base, the haves
and have mores. Those people dying in NOL are just not important.

4. Maybe He Could Talk To Someone Who's Actually Been Correct
Greenspan has no track record of accurately predicting economic impact of fiscal policy, monetary policy, or disaster recovery. Let me repeat: He has NEVER been right about these things.
The Professor

5. this aint about wall street.
this is about the entire US economy.

middle america exports a shitload of grain, and their main port was N.O.

we've lost 25% of petroleum production.

Bush absolutely, positively should be meeting with greenspan.

And, he should be introduced to a Mr. Keynes. Tax cuts, and lower interest rates aint gonna fix this economic mess.

We're going to need a WPA-like project.

8. Im sure an interest rate adjustment would solve those problems.

Have you mistaken Greenspan for someone with the ability to help with this disaster?

Since when is a right wing hack economist the person to talk to about transportation infrastucture?

16. Yep, he is a regular superman.

Care to share with me an actual way he can help because "he is the most powerful man in the world" is just a generalization that besides being false, provides no information whatsoever.

Interest rates are not the pressing issue at the moment.
