But the fact that it is the poor--mostly black population shows how much he could care less. Now the dirty little secret is out for the world to see. It's appalling and those of us who have witnessed this first hand living in the south all these years know that racial bigotry STILL exist. Haley Barbour, governor of Mississippi, made that abundantly clear this morning during his interview with CNN anchor Miles O'Brien with his blatant disregard for the questions of concern for the people and WHY the needs of this storm weren't addressed knowing this would be a category 5 storm.

The poverty and bigotry can no longer be shoved under the rug.
