Belated Kudos to Guy James and Jan Michael

Guy asked for comments about the quality of his show. I think it may have been on the old DU1, so I'm posting this.

I wasn't able to listen to the Guy James at the time, but was able to tape it (thanks to the new non-stop stream) for later listening.

I was just out in the car and had it on the tape deck. And I must say I was quite impressed. You two seem to be loosening up and having fun more. You also have a good radio rapport and compliment each otehr well as you develop your radio personas and roles on the show...I hope this doesn't sound awful, but the sage older Guy as a balance for Jan Michael's more youthful enthisiasm works well togtether.

I practically spit on my steering whell laughing at the State of the Union speech. That was priceless. I was at a stoplight next to a guy in a pickup, and he was confused and gave me a hairy eyeball when he heard it.

Anyway, just wanted to send along that feedback.

3. No, we are working on the archive thing.

I know some excellent SW for easily publishing/streaming/archiving mp3 files.

i just upload the raw mp3 file and the server takes it from there even the creation of the html pages.

9. There are a couple of possibilities waiting in the wings.

These things take time though and that's one thing that I think we're really short on.

I can imagine that anything that you put together will be spectacular!

Some people simply have "It" when it comes to presentation.

Michael and I appreciate the feedback. I do, however, resent the "older" guy comment. I'm only a few months older than Michael. My picture must make me look older huh? LOL!!

I'm glad you've noticed the positive changes.

Remember that until I started the show I'd never been on the radio before. I think I've only been on 8, maybe 9, shows. Guy has been a very good tutor at this gig. On the job training if you will.

That SOTU deal was great. Little pre-recorded segments like that really help lighten things up.

thread on "old DU" don't know if you all saw it. I was finally home to listen to the last show. It was great, you guys really do compliment each other. Keep up the great work. I just wanted you to know that.
