CNN's Miles O'Brien did a second interview with the woman whose Bed and Breakfast was washed away and she, her dog and 5 others (including a couple in thier 80's) who decided to stay at BB were left clinging to a live oak tree when the the roof collapsed and washed them out.
They clung to the tree for three hours but the couple in their 80's were washed away at some point in the flood ending up on a piece of wood which caught on a house and they were able to break open the window and get into the house which saved the 80 year old couples life.
The Woman, her dog and another man clung to the tree with waves engulfing them for the three hours. When I saw this yesterday I thought it was a wonderful story. I didn't see the dog or the tree in O'Briens report yesterday, but today he went back and interviewed her again. This time she was holding her dog (a large Scotty) and there wasn't a mark or a bruise on her. O'Brien showed the tree where all of them had been. He apparently hasn't found the 80 year old couple but know they survived.
After seeing her interviewed again, today by O'Brien,I think there's something fishy about this story. Interviewed twice and looking at that tree it's hard to see her holding her Scotty dog for three hours clinging to it while the waves and wind wash over her. And two 80 year olds breaking a window in after being washed a way...seems very heroic.
Has anyone else seen both of the interviews? If you did what do you think?
ON EDIT: I forgot...yesterday O'Brien said she had two her two kids in the tree...today there weren't any kids. :eyes:
