6. You can say that again...
When I'm driving in my car around 10 p.m. I quickly switch to AAR forgetting that I will hear Colmes and not Malloy. Then I drive about 90 mph to get to my computer to stream Mike.

9. They put Dr. Laura on with Air America?! they should run a disclaimer
before and play the sound of lysol spraying when they return to AAR programming.

Another family values type--her mother, who lived near Dr. Laura's studio, died and wasn't found for several months by her loving daughter.

10. No, Dr. Laura is on in Ed's timeslot on ASK...
For him to be carried live on ASK, they'd have to bump her off or someplace else...

If they put Alan Colmes there too to make room for Malloy at his live slot, then it looks like they'll probably kill Rollye James too.

8. No...
Don't think so. He's got a contract with Sirius that I don't think he will want to break. He has nothing to do with AAR's exclusive contract.

I guess the big question is what will they do with Mike Malloy. Are they going to keep him being repeated after Alan Colmes, or are they going to move Alan Colmes over to ASK as well? Doesn't sound promising for an additional progressive channel on XM now... I wonder if that also means that Sirius is going to soft pedal having a second liberal channel too. Damn! Hope not!

13. I still have my Sirius......
I also get local Air America...thats fine when I'm home but if I travel, I feel like my best friend is not with me. This has been an unexpected twist to my liberal radio dependency.

17. soft pedal
What do you mean by sirius soft peddling and getting a second liberal talk radio show, I hope they do get a second liberal talk radio show, I'm mad at AAR , I'm a sirius subscriber and AAR left me holding the bag, I never listen to them again

19. Well, if XM had a second liberal channel...
Sirius would definitely have to add a second channel or they'd face an exodus of progressive listeners to XM. Now with XM only moving Ed Schultz (and perhaps Alan Colmes) onto another existing channel, instead of making a new channel of content themselves, Sirius might feel that they don't need to offer much more and just add a few more liberal hosts to Radio OutQ or something like that.

Sirius Left definitely needs a face lift (minimally they need to move around Thom Hartmann and Stephanie Miller to their live slots), but I'm hoping they put on an extra channel, so we at least have a similar volume of progressive hosts that we signed up for with Sirius to start with (even if they aren't AAR).

12. Glad to hear Randi's getting the full 4 hours
I like Ed a lot, but I still want to hear Randi and Malloy in their live slots on XM, otherwise it ain't Air America. I'll listen to Ed here in Asheville or on Ask!, but AAR needs to be on XM in its full format.
