Who here wants to strangle Rita Cosby?

I can't even watch the last 2 minutes of Countdown w/Keith Olbermann anymore for fear that I will hear her godaweful voice. She is SOOOOO annoying. Compared to her, Tucker Carlson is a genius and a god.

What do you think?

and it was the only time that I almost shut off Countdown.

I've seen where excessive marijuana use can make your voice go rough, but "rough" doesn't describe it. It DOES sound strangled.
Almost makes Keilor's drone sound pleasant...

but after listening to him for years, I have grown to find it relaxing and comforting. We would listen to him during quiet winter nights while preparing dinners for the week and sipping on wine.

I saw her for the first time tonight. She was the typically rude Fox type. I watched because I had read disparaging remarks about her voice on DU, and thought people were being unkind. Well, maybe they are being unkind, but she is perpetually on the verge of coughing.

a local (only lib in the county with a column) columnist today and we were talking about the media. Her reaction to RC? "She's soooo '50's".

She had great praise for KO - and said that Tucker Carlson has a boxer (she couldn't recall his name) who spars with him verbally and that the boxer guy is brilliant. I need to try & find obnoxious bow-tie guy's new time & check that out. Has anyone seen it?

15. Max Kellerman, not a boxer by any stretch.

He's a boxing analyst from ESPN, very bright guy and quite often puts Tucker in his place.
