Poll question: "Anyone who disagrees with Bush is a terrorist." How long 'til we hear it?
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 03:20 PM by iconoclastic cat
I give it about a week. Perhaps we should start a U.S. Democracy Dead Pool.

On edit, http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9051421/">this is what has me so riled up:

O‘DONNELL: You‘re a Democrat running for Congress. It was reported that Republican leaders in your state were just thrilled that you had decided to align yourself with anti-war extremists. Do you think that this could affect your race for Congress?

ROWLEY: Well, I will quickly correct the record, that they are not anti-war extremists. The majority of the people I saw down in Crawford were actually veterans groups.

There were military families and...

(CROSSTALK)

O‘DONNELL: But, Coleen, they do oppose the war in Iraq, do they not?

10. Not directly from the media/Bushco, though. Just from their attack dogs.
Today, though, the media has begun the "Cindy supporters are extremists" meme. When will we all be called terrorists?

7. Honestly, I think we're getting closer to "Anyone who
agrees with Bush is a terrorist". I must be feeling optimistic from the poll numbers or something.

11. "If you're not with us, you're against us"
Does that count as calling us terrorists? Since the "with us" part refers strictly to the war on terra'?

15. "Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists."
-- George W. Bush September 21, 2001

This has been the Bush policy on Iraq since 2003.

18. Just read your edit
That is so disgusting that O'Donnell equates opposing the war in Iraq with extremism. How many times have you heard someone described as a pro-war extremist. I bet not even that memorial vandal was described as an extremist and if he was I never heard them tie his extremism in with being pro-war.
