London bombing "suspect" shot in cold blood...
anyone see the report on Aaron Brown. This guy was basically executed in cold blood. Leaked documents proved he did not act suspiciously, did not "jump the turnstyle", and did not have on a vest or heavy jacket. Simply shot the wrong person. This is sick and some heads in London need to roll big time.:grr:

1. The more I hear about this story
the sicker I feel. I ride the bus almost every day. Lately, everytime I have to make that little dash to get there just in time I think about how scared and confused this guy must have been in the last few seconds of his life. It's truely sickening.

2. right. from what I understood.
video surv had pegged him as one of the suspects.
they were wrong.
police acted completely out of their minds and yes, the did basically execute him.

3. Blair was really proud of this at the time. He isn't going to say shit
about it now. The bombastic bastard finally shuts up.

5. yeah, I'd also like to know what that POS Jon Gibson of Faux has
to say about this now. He's the one that advocated the "five shots to the head". What an asshat. He should be made to go to this family and apologize in person for his crude and hateful remarks. This was an innocent man who was probably scared out of his mind and his was being chased, apprehended, and ultimately executed by these plain clothes cops.:grr:

6. They should be charged for this, IMO.

Also, he wasn't aware of being chased. He had made it inside the train and took his seat when the police shot him in the head.

7. You left out a bit - there is more.
1) the team that shot de Menezes was trained to do exactly what they did: execute their targets without warning. Google Operation Kratos.

2) de Menezes was under close surveilance from the moment he walked out the door, boarded the bus, rode the bus to the train station, walked off the bus, walked into the train station, and went to his train. Think about that. At several points he was out in the open where the risk to the public was minimal, but he was allowed to walk into a crowded train station and board a train before he was intercepted by the Kratos team and executed.

3) the execution was by policy and by direct order. This was not 'cops gone bad'. The policy remains unapologetically in place.

12. Very much to the point, thank you Warren.
I agree on all points. The shoot to kill policy is criminal.

9. THE NEWS MEDIA NEEDS A WARNING STICKER!!!
Edited on Wed Aug-17-05 10:33 PM by hexola
ALL news programs need to start carrying a disclaimer!!! They warn you if there is violence or adult language. How about a warning for unsubstantiated information...or outright lies!

WARNING: The following reports contain information that may not be true.

11. Blair is an Asshole
Edited on Wed Aug-17-05 10:28 PM by PowerToThePeople
"He added that they would have been criticised had the suspect turned out to be a terrorist and they had failed to take action."

Fuck, if that excuse flies, all of us are targets. All they would have to say is "what if he/she woulda harmed someone?"

Asshole
