Peace is the most powerful weapon of mankind
It takes more courage to take a blow than to give one.It takes more courage to try and talk things through than to start a war.(ghandi) and I thought I was a coward for choosing peace. thanks Judy.

1. It is easier to hate than it is to love
It is easier to destroy a bridge than to build one.

I'm a Muslim, but I do believe that the Bible says something like "Blessed are the Peace Makers."

They truly are blessed.

4. I just saw that George Mitchell
received the Freedom Award for his work creating peace in Ireland. I saw a PBS show this weekend regarding FDR's four freedoms and the annual awards given for Freedom of Speech, Religion; Freedom from Want and Fear. Mitchell's a classic example of how diplomacy, as opposed to bloodshed and war, can create peace. Those who promote war always use the argument that nothing else could work and that they have no choice. So untrue! How can anyone argue the methods of Jesus, Gandhi, MLK, and Mitchell?
