A New Freeper Low - Abu Ghraib
Are they upset that there is prisoner abuse? No.
Are they worried that there might be something worse than what they've seen so far? No.

They are worried about ..... the ACLU.

I speechless ...

General Richard Myers contends in recently unsealed court documents that the release of such information would aid al-Qaida recruitment, weaken governments in Iraq and Afghanistan and incite riots against U-S troops.
Moslems are very weak psychologically. They feel threatened by others that think differently, they feel threatened by others live differently, they feel threatened by truth, they feel threatened by everything it seems. They are a very weak people.

Why doesn't the President just classify it secret?

Tell the court it is in the interests of national security.

If the judge doesn't like it, tough cookies.

The only possible reasons to demand public release of these photos are to damage and weaken America, and to strengthen the enemy. Can't we intern the ACLU at Gitmo as enemy combatants? I'd donate some boxers to put on their heads.

It makes a lot more sense to round up ACLU members and incarcerate them for the duration of the war than it does to put our soldiers at risk.
I'd be willing to help ferret these guys out of their poisonous nests in fact.

The coalition, which includes CBS Broadcasting Inc., NBC Universal Inc., and The New York Times Co. , supports a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit the American Civil Liberties Union has had pending the Defense Department since October 2003.

2. Hypocrisy, anyone?
"Moslems are very weak psychologically. They feel threatened by others that think differently, they feel threatened by others live differently, they feel threatened by truth, they feel threatened by everything it seems. They are a very weak people."

This, in a thread about rounding up members of a political organization freepers don't like, because that organization wants to see the truth about what we're doing in Iraq.

4. they are worried about the truth
Edited on Sat Aug-13-05 09:46 AM by Bluerthanblue
being told-

in undeniable, ulgly and actual facts, complete with evidence.

It goes against the black/white- they are evil, we are saints mentality.
When you de-personalize, de-humanize those who do the unspeakable, you can distance yourself in a fake cocoon of illusion.

And somehow justify killing innocents, because 'they' are part and parcel- when the reality that we are ALL filled with good AND bad hits them smack in the face, it scares the shit out of them- because truth be told, we are more alike than we want to be.

6. Rampant projection
"Moslems are very weak psychologically. They feel threatened by others that think differently, they feel threatened by others live differently, they feel threatened by truth, they feel threatened by everything it seems. They are a very weak people."

Sounds like freepers to me.

7. They can't wrap their little deluded minds around it.
The concept that their precious leaders have sold them a tainted bill of goods.

Then again, maybe they're just hateful little creeps.

:silly:
