Some attacks in Iraq not being reported!
I was just flipping through the channels and stopped on CSPAN for a moment. Several Dem representatives were having a conversation on the house floor about Iraq. Rep. Neil Abercrombie (D-Hawaii) said "Now I guess there are some attacks in Iraq that are going unreported".

Wow. On top of all the other credibility problems the adminisrtation is having, now this?! Wow!

1. what was the tone when he said this?
Was it like "I have just heard some pretty damning evidence and accusations of this" or was it like "I wouldn't be surprised if there are some attacks in Iraq that are going unreported."

2. He was pissed
It was basically several congressmen going through a laundry list of problems about Iraq and Abercrombie was like (I'm paraphrasing) "And I guess now I've just learned attacks are being under-reported."

It wasn't an "I'll bet" or an "I wouldn't be suirprised", he was stating it as fact. And, while I'm not sure, from the tone and context I got the impression he meant they were being under-reported to congress, not just under-reported in the news.

3. I've been forwarding articles to Abercromie's COS (Chief of Staff)
About unreported attacks and deaths. Mostly from Reuters.

ALOHA to his staff, good people.

4. House colloquay
Every Monday night Abercrombie, Emauel, Delahunt, and a couple
of others hold a colloquay on the House floor after regular
hours. Tune in every week to see these guys.
