Can Scarborough Country be axed next please
I was pleased to see Savage get fired. Now if MSNBC will fire Joe Scarborough next, I might even start watching the channel again.

What they said about him was disgraceful

3. ...
What did they say about Phil? I just recall his ratings blowing. Liberals need to be entertaining, which is why I want a TV show. That, and I wanna make fun of people. Anyway, Joe isn't nearly as bigoted as Savage.

4. Phil was the top rated show at MSNBC
which admittedly is not saying much, but Savage and Scarborough were/are so low as to be almost unmeasurable.

10. I found this quote
That report--shared with me by an NBC news insider--gives an excruciatingly painful assessment of the channel and its programming. Some of recommendations, such as dropping the "America's News Channel," have already been implemented. But the harshest criticism was leveled at Donahue, whom the authors of the study described as "a tired, left-wing liberal out of touch with the current marketplace."

The study went on to claim that Donahue presented a "difficult public face for NBC in a time of war......He seems to delight in presenting guests who are anti-war, anti-Bush and skeptical of the administration's motives." The report went on to outline a possible nightmare scenario where the show becomes "a home for the liberal antiwar agenda at the same time that our competitors are waving the flag at every opportunity."

13. Havnt they heard of niche marketing..???
The report went on to outline a possible nightmare scenario where the show becomes "a home for the liberal antiwar agenda at the same time that our competitors are waving the flag at every opportunity."

...sounds like a political decision disguised as a marketing one. And a bad one at that. If all the competitors have the same product, why not offer a different one?

He was wearing this long black SS looking trench coat, his sunglasses, and whipping around a riding crop! Talk about closeted!

It was all hate hate buy my book, hate hate, the lights are too bright for my eyes, hate, buy my book :eyes:

7. Scarborough's show is a collection of factual errors
He has so many errors, the Dems should ask for equal time just to do corrections. I had to quit watching him.

12. scarborough is more dangerous than savage
because msnbc goes out of their way to bestow 'legitimacy' on him. like in the way the rw talking points and slurs in his promos get read by the official msnbc announcer, implying that things like "bill moyer's poisonous attacks on our president' and "michael moore hates america' are official network positions.

no one ever took the savage weiner seriously. unfortunately, i have a few family members who love dead intern's "plainspokenness".

and they seem waaaaay too attached to the guy. he seems to be the new matthews, who gets to stick around indefinitel even if his show is ratings poison.

btw, when weiner got hired, joe had him on the show multiple times and always introduced him as a guy who 'always tells it like it is'--time to call him on it?
