I thought I read here once that one doesn't need a membership to have prescriptions filled. Does anyone know about that? I looked on the website and couldn't find any info.

You need a membership for the bulk of the shopping, but just tell the bouncer you're using the pharmacy and he should let you in.

i looked on the site at pricing and it doesn't seems so cheap on some. Now I wonder is that before insurance copay pricing?

10. I'm not a member, but get all my prescriptions there.

It's a great deal I've written about this a few times at DU.

It's saved me enormous amounts of money. Although they have a person standing at the door asking for your membership card, you just breeze through saying "pharmacy" and it's fine. When you get your prescription, the cashier will ask for your card or card number, and you just say you're not a member, and they enter a quick code and there's no problem at all.

Of course, if you have a family, a Costco membership would be a good deal in any event. They have great stuff at great prices, and they are a very blue company. I just don't need to buy in bulk, and have friends with cards if I need to make a special purchase.

Even if you have health insurance, sometimes Costco's prices beat your copay. Everyone should check this out.
