Inspired by demgirl I wrote to my Congressman

Even though my Congressman is a high profiled republican (Zach Wamp) he always has actually written me back unlike Frist who did a copy and paste letter so while he probably doesn't listen to me I atleast appreciate he actually writes me back (Email). So here's the letter I wrote to him. Tell me what you think:

<Dear Mr. Wamp,
I have written to you before and in the past you always wrote me back and actually wrote back and I appreciate that. It shows that you do listen even if you don't always do something I am not in favor of. So I decided to write to you today. I'm sure since you are a member of Congress that you are very aware of the torture abuses that are going on in Abu Grahib and Guantanamo Bay and that you have access to see these photos and video's thanks to the ACLU. I have been reading and hearing of all types of horror stories that are coming from Guantanamo Bay. It disgusts me and even disgusts me even more that people are going on national television and saying this place is great. SHAMEFUL! Now I'm only twenty-three and don't have children but I'm sure you do because I have heard you have at least a son and daughter from someone in high school who was a classmate of mine who lived in your neighborhood here in Chattanooga. I don't know how old they are but I'm sure no matter their age they are important to you as a parent as any parent would feel about their child (I hope anyways). Our country values our families from all types and walks of life. We value life and helping people who are in pain and who can't help themselves (see the tsunami recently). Your children are safe and can be put to a nice and comfortable bed every night and have food and nice items and clothes and be taken care of. Depending on their ages they probably even have jobs now so they can take care of themselves and probably are like me and their dad bought them a car one year on their birthday. Any parent would want to do anything they could to protect their child. Here is what's being done in my name. In YOUR name and in your children's name.

How did this happen?" I told him. He looked like it was just another patient. "Put this cream on it two times a day. Morning and night." He gave me some kind of antibiotic.>
