But, but, but, but...Clark just has to be a Republican.

He has to be.

It's a conspiracy.

He was a Republican 25 days ago.

He's really Rove wearing a Halloween mask.

He slept with W and Rumsfeld and Cheney.

Blah, blah.

:eyes:

Edit: yes, this was just about as unhelpful a response as would be possible, but I'm so tired of supporters acting like there are these enormous fundamental differences in the positions of the various candidates on the IMPORTANT issues.

Either of these guys would kick butt as president, and I'd vote for either in a heartbeat, as well as just about any other Democrat you want to put up against the current administration.

17. Perhaps you should read it yourself.
Many of the sources are right-wing wackos that I thought we were supposed to abhor.

Two flavors that are basically the same, except in the eyes of their die-hard supporters.

18. Great response.
Go Clark/Dean. Or Dean/Clark. Or Dick Clark. Or Clark bar. Or Dean of Education.

Something like that.

is actually looking at the issues and the stances the various candidates take on those issues.

I've spent a lot of time on that site since the last debate becoming more acquainted with all 10 candidates.

It's amazing how different each and every one of them is compared to Bush, et al. Obviously, that's the important thing here. In fact, I find myself looking at views of different Republicans and wonder how they can possibly feel that way!

5. How does Issues2000.org have enough information to do the test for Clark?
He, himself, is not sure of exactly where he stands on many issues.

7. Clark has never cast a vote, or stood on any issue, other than
his unabashed support for Reagan and both Bushes. To this very day, Clark has yet to criticize Reagan or Reaganism, and despite his "johnny-come-lately" criticism of George W., Clark has yet to say a bad word about Poppy Bush.

11. You might as well rename the party the Repucratic Party
because you won't have any progressives left in it. You will be left with the angry white male militarist wing!

14. Ah, ignorance is bliss.
It is so much easier just to assume he has never voiced an opinion on an issue in his entire life than to actually spend 5 minutes holding off the candidate bashing and doing some actual research.

Nope, never made an opinion on anything. Not in the military. Not in a couple of years on CNN. Not in the debates. Not on his web site.

Please realize how ignorant that makes you sound.

6. Clark
needs to get this out there. He needs to repond to Dean's questioning his "democratic credentials" with this very information. Clark also needs to point to this information as a way of bringing the base of the democratic party into his canpaign.

Patriot act. I always he knew he was a crypto-repuke swine.

15. If you're gonna use Dean, use DK, Edwards, Kerry, Gep, Graham, etc....
Cause they too are all moderate liberals, some with a slight turn to being moderate liberal populace.

Just a thought.

16. I think the point was to blunt all of the talk
about how supposedly different these two are, in particular. Dean's supporters act like Clark is Satan incarnate, while Clark's supporters fight back with similarly goofy claims about Dean.

Oh, and to point out that Clark isn't the right-wing wacko many would have DU'ers believe.

Idiocy. This is a blatant lie, because he's only telling half the truth. Check the link to see the full story and how he's misrepresenting them as moderates. Compare them to the rest in the link.

Edit: according to the full analysis, Dean is a "moderate liberal" and Clark is a "populist-leaning liberal". The original poster omitted these facts.
