Just saw an NBC News story on the economy and military recruitment
Recruitment is up because many can't find jobs in this sucky economy. Is this a concious plan by * and the admin to guarantee an army for their purposes? Or is it just a beneficial side effect (for them) that trashing the economy just happens to increase recruitment?

1. Side effect
And it has been that way through history. The military gives you food, money and a job.

4. I couldn't say whether it is a conscious plan
But I am SURE * and company consider it a beneficial side effect.

5. that's all part of the plan
service members usually have a tuition waiver from 75% to %100 in most state colleges. I feel that college is being made unaffordable for those purposes too.

6. Timothy McVeigh waiting-to-happen corps.
Just a short-term solution that will only make matters worse in the long run. Much worse.
