Another gaggle of Dean Team Canvassers succesfully launched!

Here in Nashua, New Hampshire, the (current) heart of the
battle, yet another gaggle of Dean Team Canvassers has
been launched into the neighborhoods!

Today's team came ALL THE WAY FROM HOUSTON,
TEXAS to spread the word about the Doctor! They'll
be walking neighborhoods this afternoon, staying overnight
in volunteers' homes, and working again tomorrow before
returning home Sunday night.

I just did the training for the canvassers and what
a GREAT experience it was! These folks, from
the heart of Bushland, are one FIRED-UP CROWD!
They'll do great, and it's folks like these who'll ensure
that Dean does great on January 27th!

Oh, you can bet on it! Believe it or don't, in a lot of ways,
there are similarities between Texas and NH. Both states
have no state income tax, so there's a huge dependence
on the property tax to fund all sorts of things, not the least
of which is education. Both states are pretty darned Republican,
although ours tend to be of the Libertarian kind and theirs
tend to be more of the Fundamentalist Christian kind.

They know the Shrub, and what happens when Republicans
run the place, so they're almost the ideal folks to come out
and help us.

On the other hand, suburban New Hampshire sure
doesn't look much like Houston. :-)

Later today, I'll head back for the "debriefing".
