Watch Out: Repubs will bring up Dean to bring down Clark--not a good thing
I've noticed that a lot of rightwingers have jumped on the Dean bandwagon lately. They seem to be praising him a lot. Strangely enough, this has only been the case since Clark jumped into the ring.

Anyone see the CNBC roundtable discussion Thursday night, after the debates, with the Republican-dominated Wall Street Journal panel? Most made it clear that they just knew Dean would win because he was just oh-so-great! You'd never see this happen before. They would normally be encouraging someone like Lieberman, but no--Dean it is. And they're absolutely sure Dean is the right man for the Dems, yet before Clark, Dean was 'ultra-liberal' and just a plain old nutcase!

When you see someone like Gloria Borger (of CNBC) praising Dean, something isn't right. I'm not saying its because they know Dean will be an easy victory, but they'd MUCH rather fight Dean than fight Clark.

The easiest way to bring down Clark is to bring up Dean. Thats their gameplan from here on in, so watch out.

2. The GOP Will Pit Various Candidates Against Each Other
And the minute it benefits them to build up yet another... they will do so.

It's almost meaningless to discuss who they are focusing on now.

Like prognosticating the future by sheep entrails.

5. I don't understand the clark pull
He has no backgound dealing with domestic issues, no financial background...
I am not dissing him, I am just puzzled as to why he is so popular all of a sudden.
I have a tinfoil hat theory, what if the pukes planted him?
I know the Clintons think highly of him, which puzzles me more.
Once again, I'm not putting him down, I just don't trust someone that "just" decided to become a Democrat because the repukes didn't want/invite him.

11. I don't get it either
Maybe it's a Prince Charming syndrome or the fact that he isn't Bush. He has no record on the issues. This seems like a big piece missing.

Maybe there will be something forthcoming but many seem to be willing to fall in love over a few speeches. Talk's cheap.

14. No financial background?
He has a masters in economics, which he taught at West Point. He is a licensed investment broker, before he decided to run for president he sat on a number of boards, chairing a few. He also worked as a staffer at OMB during his career.

4. The Repukes Are Trying to Fix Our Primaries
They're hoping that Dean will win the nod because they think he's the most McGovern-like. Of course they're wrong about that, but doesn't it bother people here that the GOP are so desperately attacking Clark. If he was really a DLCer, I doubt the Pukes would go after him. I've seen more Clark-bashing on Faux and on Drudge than there ever was about Dean.

To Dean supporters (or Freepers in disguise I should say) quit trying to paint Clark as an establishment DLCer. He's running because of the hard work of the Draft movement, not because the DLC told him to run. These Dean-vs.-Clark threads are nothing more than Freeper flame-bait.

6. The worst thing about the whole situation is..
..the anti-Clark lefties are using the EXACT SAME lies and talking points against Clark, as the Bushites are. You know its a dark day in America when the right and the far left (I assume its the FAR left DU'ers that are against Clark) team up to smear the name of such a great man. The worst part is, it seems as though the right is digging up all the 'dirt' and the lefties are just eating it up. Its just unbelievable with the people here claiming he's PNAC, pro-war, and heaven forbid, PART OF THE DLC!! Oh no, we better keep Bush instead!

Because to some of you,
RNC > DNC

And that just sucks.
Please use some common sense and critical thinking when you hear or read something negative about Clark--because it's most likely either a rightwing smear tactic or simply a far-leftist anti-military load of crap.

12. The easiest way to bring down Dean is to hype up Clark.
The man with the plan to have a plan someday soon, really... :eyes:

I'm looking forward to the next debate where he won't be able to get away with answers like "I'll be coming out in a few weeks with my own economic plan..."

13. If Gopers think that going against Dean will be easy they're wrong
I remember a lot of Democrats hoping for Bush to beat McCain. These things can backfire.
