Get ready, folks, * won't even fire Rove if he's indicted
Only a conviction will do to show Rove committed a crime and Bush parsed his words today.

They are going to follow Rove over a cliff. You heard it here first.

1. Rove knows where
ALL THE BODIES ARE BURIED

they can't get rid of him, not because he might rat them out, but because they don't even know where or how how many bodies are buried and they would be constantly tripping over them for the next three years.

20. AMEN! Bush could no more fire Rove.......
than anyoone could cut off their own arm or leg. He knows too much to be let out of the admin's sight for too long.

However, Rove should be careful about flying on small planes! It would be great for the * admin if Rove were "Wellstoned".

Republican party. This would mean that the Republicans in congress would have to decide whether to stand behind Bush or stand for honor and integrity. It would be insane if Bush didn't...the press would just slaughter him and all of his defenders.

I hope he doesn't. :)

10. I hope so too...
That would be SO beautiful...for bush to keep him on while he (and possibly Scooter Libby) are under indictment.

2006 would play right into Dem hands.

21. I Agree. This Move Is About As Misguided As Pickett's Charge
Then again, what would you expect from a chimp?

3. guess moral codes do not count-as Bush raised the bar--needs to be
a 'crime' he said during the press conference.

4. Personally I think that's a good thing
If this descends into a messy public trial with witnesses and evidence on the corruption going on behind closed doors in the Bush Administration, I hope that Rove is still tied as closely as possible to the Chimp and that the stench continues to permeate everything the Chimp does.

And you are absolutely right; continuing to have Rove as his chief advisor while Rove defends himself for treason would take the entire administration right over a cliff.

17. KKKarl would never have approved the words
"cooperate fully" as long as they refer to someone cooperating with them. Rove truly does feel above the law, and the way he played this hand surely shows it.

15. It may be better that he stays...
. he will be under a magnifying glass
. he and they will be pounded flat about why he is staying
. he would work for them anyway...

they would certainly figure out a way to continue to use him for tactics and strategies - no matter what.
