.
Or defending the Bush Admin?

Any at all?

My guess is that the Republican Congress-critters are worried. Very worried.

He *has* to go out and try to defend them.

17. I did watch part of MTP and wasn't impressed with his lying abilities
I felt that he came off defensive. His talking points were stale. It felt like he was reading a prepaired script instead of answering questions. And he just has a dishonest face. He looked stressed. Maybe he always had stress circles under his eyes, who knows?

11. RNC Head-Dick Mehlman's so ubiqitous lately..
I just figured everyone here would get my humor.
(The only members of Congress that would defend Shrubbie would be House weasels like Mark Souder and John Hostetter).

8. Lindsey Graham on Face the Nation
Edited on Sun Jul-17-05 11:21 AM by PDittie
There's a prize for the Republican who shills the hardest, longest and most shrill in support of Rove; it's all-expenses-paid-by-the-taxpayers month in the Caribbean with Jeff Gannon.

That's why Mehlman is working so hard.

9. The current spin...
is that Rove has been proven exonerated. I'm not sure by what but if it isn't Fitzgerald saying it, it doesn't matter.

19. Oral Hatch (R-Reprobate-Utah) on Late Edition
swearing Rove is a decent, honorable man who is sorely misunderstood. He's known him all these years--and besides, Rove was born in Utah so that qualifies him for sainthood from the start.
