3. Has McCain weighed in on our torture policy?
Edited on Fri Jul-15-05 06:51 PM by cornermouse
If he has, I haven't heard of it. As a past victim of torture, you would think this is a matter that he would have very strong feelings about.

5. Yes he weighed in
He voted against the amendment to strip Rove of his security clearance.

McCain is a party loyalist, no matter what spews from his mouth.

I believe McCain about as far as I can throw a man hole cover!!!

8. McCain was hoping to be "architected" by Rove in '08 -- apparently all is
forgiven for the whole 2000 thing. . .

9. McCain's been lobotomized
I used to really like him; he seemed to be someone with integrity. But boy, you talk about flip flopping! For the war, against the war. Criticize Bush; hug Bush.

So sad to see someone who's suffered the effects of war and torture be such a wimp about speaking out against it...

11. McCain is a cat piss-smelling cocksucker.
Why Progressives give a damn about that*-sucking asswipe is beyond me.
</rant>

Proud2BAmurkin, we need to care about those who fight *co, not those who serve it, feed it, lay down for it or abide it. Whatever good McCain ever had, and it was mighty little, he cast aside for the machine that attacked him. Now, he kneels before his master, *.

We must work to replace him with a Progressive, and consign his sorry, cowardly ass to the political ashbin of history.

12. re: cocksucker
Progressive brother, just to remind you that that term is used overwhelmingly as an epithet for gay males. However I agree wholeheartedly with your post!

13. No...
Cocksucker is used overwhelmingly as an epithet for straight males.
:-)

Faggot is the overwhelmingly used epithet for gay males. You don't have to grow up in Texas to be familiar with the varieties and uses of hate speech, but it sure provided with a sickening education.

I prefer to gay males by their proper names, as I don't care about a persons sexual preference (preference is not quite the proper term for a natural urge that we are born with, is it?).

Annnnnyway, in my previous post, cat piss smell and cocksucker are an allusion to the language used in the HBO series Deadwood for rotten politicians. Have you seen it?

17. Good meeting you.
:toast:

Deadwood has been on a couple of seasons. It's intense, profane and funny. It's on hiatus, and should be rerunning from the beginning soon.

14. McCain can't tell which end of BushCo to worship
Kiss the ass or fellate. Some think John McCain is so moderate and such a strong voice. He is nothing more than a political opportunist. I feel little sympathy for his victimhood. I feel for veterans who have become political pawns in the political game. A pawn McCain is not.

15. I agree..
... I got sucked into believing McCain was worthy of respect a couple of times - but if you listen to everything he says there is no way to respect him at all.

And that picture up there makes me wanna barf. The expression on McCain's face - well, there's no way to explain my disdain without offending some people so I'll just say that he is nothing but a lap dog. You can't be a man and a lap dog at the same time.
