BAGHDAD - Eight suicide bombings carried out across the capital on Friday, killing at least 11 Iraqis, mostly soldiers, and wounding scores, police sources said. The U.S. military said three suicide car bombs killed 15 civilians and five soldiers.

BAGHDAD - A U.S tank was hit in New Baghdad district to the east of the capital, an Interior ministry source said. Also, a U.S patrol was hit by a car bomb near Amana garage in eastern Baghdad.

BAGHDAD - 19 Iraqis were wounded in a suicide car bomb explosion near former Ministry of Defense in northern Baghdad's Bab al-Mu'adham district, Interior Ministry and police sources said.

TREBIL - Two Marines were killed by a roadside bomb near the Jordanian border in the town of Trebil on Thursday, a U.S military statement said.
