Which Senator blasted The Daily Show on the floor today?
Am trying to explain to a friend but can't remember which Senator actually referred to the Fake News Program? Anyway, it makes me LOL every time I think about it.

18. Hey, take it easy - I am from Kansas.
Happily, I no longer live there. However, currently living in the south and it is not an improvement politically.

9. Blasted Wilson Cause He Appeared On A "Comedy Show"
Of course Putzhead Pat forgot that Colin Powell, Newt Gingrich, Bill Christol and many other Repugnicans have appeared on that "Comedy Show".

Stewart has more credibility in his fingernails than all of Faux News and CNNServative.

No offense to Sci-Fi Channel fans.

Anything on Faux that resembles reality is purely shear luck.

7. Pat Roberts from Kansas (Repuke)
Then, if I'm not mistaken, he voted against the Frist amendment, too.

11. As noted above it was Pat Roberts and he is also the Chairman
of the Senate Intelligence Committee. He and two other Repukes put an addendum on a report that really skewered Joe Wilson. This report is where Mehlman, et al are getting some of their talking points from.

13. Should we make him miserable out of all proportion for shits and giggles?
Wouldn't it be cool if he caught more heat for berating Jon Stewart than for anything else he's done in his career?

Can we protest outside his office?

I think we should blow this up out of all proportion and get more publicity for The Daily Show.

On top of that, "Daily Show" viewers know more about election issues than people who regularly read newspapers or watch television news, according to the National Annenberg Election Survey. (Pop quiz)

So what does that say about the "real" news?

22. The Newsweek guy, Isikoff (sp?) said tonight that TDS
had the best Plame explanation out of anyone (from last night's show), especially the bit with the monkey washing the cat! Admittedly, that was a bit of a digression, but GOD I love that monkey and that cat!

I had hoped they would use that clip on tonight's show but I guess it happened too late in the day.
