3. It is reassuring to know that intelligence isn't going to let this die

but their request for investigations under the leadership of Brent Scowcroft is a bit disingenuous. Scowcroft was against the strategy (pre-emption) but then backpedaled from his earlier assertions as the war drew near. Point two is that regardless of prestige, nobody from Bush's father's administration should be over-seeing investigations into his son's administration.
Frankly, that Counterpoint would not comment on this very OBVIOUS conflict of interest is evidence of how the left allows themselves to be GAMED by the right.

They're great. They were especially vocal leading up to the war. All were very articulate and passionate when they spoke. They were on a forum that c-span carried during the war protests.
