How does she feel today AFTER she knows that bush manipulated the intelligence? And Clinton was in office then. He had 2 years after this statement to take care of Sadaam and his WMDs. Not that I know he did, but if this freeper is clinging to a statement made 7 years ago then chances are he hasn't followed current events.

I have been arguing with these freepers on the internet for several years now. (I can't even begin to tell you how excited I was when I found DU.) The freepers are pretty easy to read.
They cling to ancient history.
They can't spell.
They call us names when they are losing an argument.
We are TONS smarter. :)

Operation Desert Fox was the military codename for a major three-day bombing campaign on Iraqi targets from December 16-December 18, 1998 by the United States and United Kingdom.

It was a major flare-up in the Iraq disarmament crisis. The stated goal of the cruise missile and bombing attacks was to "degrade" Saddam Hussein's ability to produce weapons of mass destruction.

including bombings, sanctions, UN resolutions (remember the one Chimpy himself got), and renewed inspections.

There was NO NEED to invade -- particularly without any plan for the aftermath of Saddam's overthrow -- and no Democrats proposed that. PERIOD. That was all BushCo's idea, and THEY are responsible for it.
