Former President Bill Clinton and Ted Turner engaged in a discussion of energy and environmental issues, moderated by former Sen. Timothy E. Wirth. After the discussion, former President Clinton presented Ted Turner with the Democratic Leadership Council's Clinton Center Award for Leadership and National Service. Ted Turner was honored for his work as an environmentalist and philanthropist through the Turner Foundation, the United Nations Foundation, the Nuclear Threat Initiative, and other organizations.

The event took place in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

6. I've been listening for a while; it's amazing how brilliant Clinton is.
His command of a vast array of information is really astounding. He sounds like an expert on this subject, and he does that every time he opens his mouth.

This forum is sponsored by the DLC so I'm not happy about that - but still when you compare Bill Clinton talking about an issue and W talking about an issue, it's ... I can't even think of the words to describe the difference.

But I have to listen hard to Clinton talking about why he is optomistic about what's going on with the evangelical community.... hmmmm...

8. Bill Clinton keeps inspiring me...
I wasn't so thrilled with him as a president, but as the years go on I find myself more and more inspired by him. He has a remarkable vision and insight, I'm so impressed with how he can reduce complex issues into do-able steps.
