And Clark would wipe the floor with that other guy. Assuming... an honest election.

4. I heard on AAR today that
Steny Hoyer is thinking about getting 22nd amendment off the books and the host suggested a bush/Clinton (Bill) match up.
Now, I completely dismiss this as gossip but having Bill back to restore our reputation and our sanity is something I think about a lot.

5. Yeah Clinton's done a great job.
He was a major proponent of unfair trade and while he won 2 terms the Democrats lost the house, the senate and the supreme court.

14. Don't forget "dumbass" (Clinton's words) "don't ask, don't tell."
Even HE admits that was a huge mistake (before anyone asks, if you don't already know, he discussed his regret that he had done this to gay servicemen and women in an October 2000 issue of Rolling Stone). It set a horrible precedent for the way government could treat people who happen to be gay and lesbian, and kicked off an absolutely disgusting purge of qualified, proud members of our military forces. Not to mention validating already existing homophobia within the military and facilitating the increase of homophobia in the military to the levels we are unfortunately hearing it exists now. Good call, Bill.

17. My only wish is that Clark

would have run for some office first, just so he has experience
in the campaign. But I suppose that a failed attempt to be the
Democratic nominee in 2004 is good enough.

Still...

I almost wished he had moved to CA and thrown his hat into the
recall election thing, I think people would like to see him as
an elected leader before voting for him as our President.

....course, should he win the nomination, I will fight as hard
as I can to see him elected, just like I did for Kerry. That goes
for anyone winning the primaries.

13. My nightmare: Not voting
I won't vote for anybody who voted for the war resolution. End of story. The Clinton haters can say what they want. But deep down they know he wouldn't have led us into this quagmire.

15. My nightmare is not being able to vote as the result of martial law
of some variety being in effect at that time. Or because the United States has suspended its electoral processes for some other reason.
